Retailing & The Economy
This programme is under the retail framework and is designed to develop skills and knowledge in working effectively in the retail environment. This course also aims to equip retail front line staff with the basic knowledge of the Singapore retail industry, individual roles and responsibilities in the retail sector and career progression in the retail industry.

MODE OF DELIVERY
Face-to-Face: 10 hr 58 min Guided Learning Hours (GLH) consist of lectures, interactive activities, role plays, group discussions, and self assessments/tests, either conducted in-house or on-site (corporate trainings)
ASSESSMENT MODES AND SCHEDULE
Written Assessment Role Play
Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
Students must successfully pass all Written Assessment (WA) and Role Play (RP) to achieve competency in the course. Learners who are certified competent will be given a Statement of Attainment (SoA) by the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) / Skillsfuture Singapore (SSG)
