INTRODUCTION Communicate and Relate Effectively at the Workplace is a generic work skills programme that is meant to help operational and all front line staff to know the importance of communicating effectively in the workplace.
In today’s increasingly interconnected business environment, it is very important that employees are able to communicate and relate effectively with one another. This course is also a necessity and a fundamental skill in dealing with customers and clients.
PROGAMME DURATION 16 hours – Assessment hours: 1.5, Training hours: 14.5
MODE OF DELIVERY Face-to-Face: 14.5 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) consist of lectures, interactive activities, role plays, group discussions, and self assessments/tests, either conducted in-house or on-site (corporate trainings)
ASSESSMENT MODES AND SCHEDULE 2 Written Assessments (Day 1 and Day 2) Role Play(Day 2)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS No formal education / lower primary. Be able to speak, listen, read and write in the language of the course.
AWARD CRITERIA Students must successfully pass all Written Assessments (WA) and Role Play (RP) to achieve competency in the course. Learners who are certified competent will be given a Statement of Attainment (SoA) by the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) / Skillsfuture Singapore (SSG)
